About me

Hello! I’m Naman Shah, a CA student with a deep interest in business and finance.

The idea behind starting this blog was simple — the childlike joy of carving out a little space on the internet that’s entirely my own. A place I can design, shape, and use as a medium to share my thoughts with the world.

I haven’t quite figured out a specific niche yet — and that’s intentional. I don’t plan to write full-time, and my posts won’t follow any fixed schedule. The topics? They’ll be as varied as they can get. Still, I do hope to explore developments in the world of chartered accountancy, along with themes that interest me as I grow in this profession.

I’ve completing the practical work experience required for the CA Final exams (due May 2026). I started my articleship journey at Sharp & Tannan, Mumbai in their Statutory Audit Practice for a year, followed by a wonderful stint as a CA Industrial Trainee at Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited which ended in August of 2025. At Bharat Petroleum, my roll encompassed assisting the Business Finance team in the B2B Division (formally known as Industrial & Commercial Business Unit).

Beyond academics and work, I have a strong inclination toward capital markets, business analysis, and the investment landscape — areas where I hope to build a long-term career. I also enjoy poetry, podcasts, and the occasional deep dive into a good book. My write-ups will be a healthy mix of all these interests.

This blog isn’t meant to go viral — it’s meant to make me better. To nudge me into reading more of what matters, to reflect, and to express those thoughts in the best form I can.

P.S. Currently, I’m in prep mode for my CA Final Examinations due in May 2026. This will be my biggest test so far. Earning the title of Chartered Accountant will mark the first of many meaningful milestones ahead. Until then, the blog will stay inactive. Once the exams are done, expect a flood of posts — my creatively starved brain will finally get to feast on all the books, thoughts, and stories gathered during this intense prep phase.

That’s me — Naman. And this is my blog.

First of the many !
